In celebration of SCN’s 25th anniversary year, Story Circle Network is creating a second edition of our popular Kitchen Table Stories.
First published in 2007, KTS is a compendium of our members’ recipes and the stories connected to them, stories that are the kind shared around a kitchen table. Stories that are full of personal meaning but that also tell us something about the significance of food in our lives, and the people who share that food with us. By telling our Kitchen Table Stories, we create an opportunity for empathy, learning about others through the common human experience of cooking and sharing food.
Kitchen Table Stories 2022: Sharing Our Lives in Food is an opportunity for current members to respond to their culinary experiences and share them in a book with the broad audience of Amazon and Kindle platforms. With a Foreword and recipe/story by renowned author Judy Alter, and a cover and book design by author/artist Sherry Wachter, this volume of all-new material will delight cooks everywhere.
