Eileen Sanchez retired from a forty-year career in education. Freedom Lessons, her debut historical fiction novel, was a 2020 Sarton Award Finalist. She believes history could guide us if we would only listen. She writes historical fiction, flash memoir, and flash fiction. She is published in several SCN anthologies. Promoting other authors to find their readers is important to her as a SCN book reviewer and previously as an administrator of the Facebook group Books Live Forever. Eileen is the SCN Circle Coordinator.
