Class synopsis
In this course, you will be guided in journaling through inspiring prompts, you will find the hidden gems in your thoughts and will use them to jumpstart your own poems. You will learn to trust your authentic voice and to share some of your writing, if you're interested in doing so.Class description
Each week, you will receive a unit containing:
• the theme/element of the week
• a poem or two and quotes about the selected theme
• prompts to help you delve deep into the theme/element of the week in relation to your life
• step by step instructions on how to mine your reflections to jumpstart your own poems, how to choose the right form and tone for your poems, how to polish them
• suggestions for additional practice.
You will have the opportunity to interact with the instructor for course-related questions and support.

Francesca Aniballi is Italian by birth, but English is her elective language when it comes to creative expression.
It is the language that opens up her imagination.
After living in Scotland for years, where she received her Ph.D in Comparative Literature, she relocated in the Italian countryside, where she teaches and writes contentedly.
She also is an expressive arts therapist and brings her love for creative process in her teaching and facilitation.
