Each Monday our Internet Chapter members receive "Women's Wise Words & A Week's Worth of Writing Prompts", designed to give their writing practices a boost. Below are some samples of what we send.
A Woman's Wise Words:
"Most people are so busy knocking themselves out trying to do everything they think they should do, they never get around to do what they want to do." |
Your Writing Prompt:
What are you doing because people think you should? What are you doing because you want to do it? |
A Woman's Wise Words:
"If you let yourself be absorbed completely, if you surrender completely to the moments as they pass, you live more richly those moments." |
Your Writing Prompt:
Write about the things that absorb you most completely. When do you feel able to surrender completely to the passing moment? |
A Woman's Wise Words:
"There came a time when the risk to remain tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom." |
Your Writing Prompt:
Have there been times in your life when you remained "tight in the bud"? When/how/why did you blossom? Write about budding, blossoming, risking. |
