American Tragedy 9/11/2001
I sit and watch the news on T.V. in
disbelief of the things that I see.
Why is it people would rather fight,
than live in peace and embrace the light?
Evil is pure ignorance. Some people
still don't understand this.
We should all live together peacefully,
in this great land of opportunity.
Our children should not have to be afraid
to play outside on this beautiful sunny day.
Let's all get on our knees and pray, that
God will help us through this very sad day.
Please Lord keep our families safe until
we're all home with you, where we will stay.
