i woke up and went to work, my normal day, and i thought all those poor victims, those who are survivors and those who lost their lives in those terrible events in new york, washington and pennsylvania, woke up and went to work too. just a normal day too for all those people until something very abnormal happened. all we had was a radio to hear everything that was going on, but the full impact of what had happened didn't quite sink in until i saw the pictures of this awful atrocity. i sat in my den and cried, mourning for all the lives lost, all the lives that have been changed forever on sept 11, 2001. i was not anywhere near where the events occurred, but my live has been touched too, as has my family's lives. i have continued to cry each time i see, especially the airliner crash into the second of the towers, those pictures and see those flashes of faces, of lives that i have never touched, but who have touched me in a way that i will never be able to describe. my thoughts and prayers are with all those whose lives have been closely touched by this unspeakable act of cowards and terrorism. our united states will never be the same after all this, but we will survive and we will be stronger than before. god bless america, god bless us all.
