A Writing Workshop at the Family History Library

Join Story Circle Network in a trip to Salt Lake City & the Family History Library. During your visit you will learn to:

1. Research your genealogy
2. Compile your family history
3. Write your stories

The workshop takes place over four days:

1. Day 1: travel day & evening orientation
2. Day 2: Orientation to library; begin research writing exercises
3. Day 3: computer research; aadditinal research writing exercises
4. Day 4: wrap-up in a.m. & travel day

The Family History Library

This library houses the largest collection of genealogical records in the world. Patrons use books, microforms, & computerized records to compile family histories & do genealogical research. The four-floor building houses information from the U.S., Canada, Europe, Latin America, Asia, & Africa. Admission is free. Volunteers & staff members are available to help, orientation is offered regularly, & specialized classes are available.

Cost: $375 per person for SCN members, $400 for non-members. Includes workshop fees & hotel room (double occupancy). Meals & transportation are NOT included.
