Personal historian and founder of Heirloom Memoirs, Paula is a memoirist and publisher with a background in journalism and public relations. Helping others to preserve their family histories in book form-the real stories of people from all walks of life in their own voice-has become the perfect niche for her talents. Everyone has a story to tell, and their memoir becomes an historic link between past, present and future generations. Paula's work includes Tales of a Scrapper, Profile of a Lone Star Legacy, Truth & Integrity-Nothing Else Matters, A Country Cowboy, Cooking Up the Memories, and Miracles on the Amazon - a delightful memoir of two missionaries and their 40 years of work in Brazil. Paula serves on the Board of Directors for the Association of Personal Historians, an international organization of professional writers, videographers and oral historians, and is a member of the Texas Oral Historians Association and Story Circle Network. She also offers writing workshops and has organized conferences across the country.

In cooperation with Story Circle Network, Paula offers "Writing as Healing" workshops for women who are victims of domestic violence and/or sexual abuse. Non-profit crisis centers are eligible for discounted rates. This series of workshops has provided the participants with powerful tools for insight, self-esteem and strength on their individual paths to recovery.
