Donna Remmert's professional background includes teaching high school English and working as a journalist. Interpreting literature and writing creatively was the impetus for her interest in dream understanding; for more than 20 years, she has pursued an informal study of Jungian psychology, especially as it relates to dreams. She knows from experience that an inner therapist is within and the best way to receive messages from this great source of wisdom is through dream interpretation. Donna has taught workshops on ways to use dream imagery in art and in writing for several years. She believes that the best interpreter of a dream is the actual dreamer; her workshop is training for this ability.
Donna is an active member of the SCN Board of Directors, and she facilitates writing workshops and an on-going writing circle. She has published a memoir about her childhood called The Littlest Big Kid and a memoir about her teen years called The Jitterbug Girl. Her long-term goal is to write about her entire life. "Life review work is a magical way of knowing myself better, celebrating the life Išve led, and engaging in the process of individuation. I treasure the experience of sharing my insights with others. It inevitably results in others sharing theirs with me." |
