Judith Helburn served as President of the Board of Directors for Story Circle Network and has been leading a Writing Circle for 10 years. She says, "The most effective way to grow and bloom is to do life repair, face one's own mortality, and to give back." Developing one's spirituality is the backbone of what she teaches. She feels that many women, especially older women, feel as if they have led uninteresting lives in the shadow of others. "No matter what one believes, telling one's story is the way to live on." This philosophy, so eloquently stated, is Judith's mission statement for helping women find the joy of living a longer and healthier life.
She has addressed audiences throughout the country on the topics of healthy aging and incorporating spirituality into our lives. In addition, she has created a video, "Getting OFF OUR ROCKER," and has written "Creativity," a chapter in Spiritual Elders: Women of Worth in the 3rd Millennium.
