Carolyn Blankenship is a former Board member of Story Circle Network, and facilitates a monthly Writing Circle and Older Women's Legacy circles. She has developed and taught a variety of programs over the past 15 years, including training programs for volunteer facilitators, grief and loss support groups; and presentations on the subjects listed above for corporations, public schools, University of Texas Nursing School, University of Texas Informal Classes, Brackenridge Hospital, Breast Cancer Resource Center, City of Austin Health+ Program, churches, nursing homes, federal prisons, and the general public. She is currently working as a Personal Historian, helping people turn memories into memoirs.
Carolyn is committed to genuine interaction and connection with others, to empowering herself and others to live fully from the heart, and to discovering the joy and healing available in sharing our stories. "I aspire to live with joy, where love is willing and life is real." "If we could see the whole of our own life, the beauty of how it all fits together would amaze us. When we expand our minds to include the whole fabric of creation, the integral part we play in the dance of the universe, the total connectedness of all that is - we touch a place of peace and joy that transcends our either/or thinking and allows us to honor the fullness of life." --Patricia Sun |
