Nonfiction: Faith/Spirituality/Inspiration

"I can remember the day my childhood ended...it was the day my father died...my father was only 34 years old." How does a thirteen-year-old process the sudden unexpected death of a parent? She doesn't.

Karin was to face many more challenges in her life, but the one that forced her to find faith was the birth of her daughter. She wanted her child to believe in God. This was the beginning of a journey-from new believer to multi-church organizer. She came to know that God had a plan, and He was looking for people He trusted to carry it out on earth.

Karin reaches out, not just with words, but with actions and charitable giving. She began writing a column called Building the Kingdom as an outlet for all that God was pouring into her. Her ministries are varied and include the Walk for Jesus, prison ministry, showing the Jesus film, and servant evangelism. She is a true evangelist who is taking God out of the box (church) and showing the world what His kingdom is really like.

The author uses her talents and asks if the reader has a gift or a childhood desire that has not been used. It is a challenge to get people thinking, wondering and talking about God.

Karin writes only what she has lived and is willing to live. Does she have all the answers? No. But if you are looking for ideas for sharing your faith, this book will help. It is her testimony to inspire and motivate ordinary people to do extraordinary things for God.

Karin Paparelli is co-founder of Building the Kingdom Ministries, an organization that brings the good news of Jesus Christ to the world. She is also a columnist for The Christian Life Times, NY and a singer/songwriter residing in Nashville, Tennessee, with her husband, Tony, and their five children.
