Be Our Guest
with Karen Kreps

Sunday, January 28
2-4pm
LCRA Colorado Room,
3801 Lake Austin Blvd
Free

Join us as Karen Kreps, a certified independent consultant with Heritage Makers, will present a new Web-based service you can use to easily self-publish archival quality hard cover books containing your own stories. She will show sample storybooks, talk about the power of story and encourage everyone to share their stories using the Heritage Makers system, available on Karen's web site.

Storybooking is the unique process of combining photographs with personalized story text into one or more professionally hardbound storybooks for ages one to 101. Heritage Makers is the first and fastest growing storybooking company in the world that takes memories to a new level. What scrapbooking was to the last century, storybooking is to this new century.

Karen Kreps has 25 years experience as a professional writer, editor and Web developer. She wrote a best-selling diet book (The 60-Day Diet Diary, Dell 1982). She writes the "Intimacies" column about love, sex, romance and relationships in The Good Life Magazine, a local Austin monthly publication. She is Senior Editor of Integral Yoga Magazine, and writes for InnovationMatters, a semi-monthly e-newsletter about technology commercialization. For 14 years she was a film critic for Boxoffice magazine and has also written for The New York Times Co., the Washington Post, the New York Post, the New York Daily News, Diversion, Success and Experience Austin magazines.

So take this opportunity to introduce your friends to Story Circle Network, and bring a few along to hear Karen talk about storybooking.
