Schmooze the Muse
.

We still have several openings in Donna Remmert's June 29th Schmooze the Muse workshop entitled "Dream Writing". This writing intensive workshop will challenge you to understand the symbolic images of your dreams, find the connecting link to your outer experience of life and then create soul-depth stories about yourself. Come with five or more dreams in writing, to be used for your personal introspection as we discuss ways to understand a dream and use this knowledge for story telling. You will be invited to write and share stories inspired by your understanding of your dreams at the workshop. Sharing is of course always optional. The workshop will be held at Donna Remmert's home, 3301 Far View Drive, Austin, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. To register, please see www.storycircle.org/Workshops/SchmoozeTheMuse.shtml.

Susan Albert's July 20 workshop on turning memoir to fiction is currently full, but we're taking names for a waiting list in case we have last-minute cancellations. To add your name, go here: www.storycircle.org/Workshops/SchmoozeTheMuse.shtml, then click on "online enrollment form."

  • Sunday, August 25, 2-4pm: PJ Pierce talks about her new book, Let Me Tell You What I've Learned: Texas Wise Women Speak, a collection of wisdom gathered in interviews with 25 well-known Texas women. Carolyn Blankenship's Write On! circle will also share selections from their work.

If you have a story to tell and you'd like to share it with the world, you'll find guidelines for submission here: www.storycircle.org/noble.html.
